About Caprock Game Farm

Caprock Game Farm is owned and operated by Dr. and Mrs. Darrell Franks and Todd Franks. Caprock is located 10 miles SW of Lubbock, ½ mile South of HWY 62/82 on FM 2378. We have been in the game farming business since 1994 and started our facility with 14 animals, 2 pastures, 1.6 acres, and less than ½ mile of fence. We currently have over 400 animals, 29 different pastures, 160 acres, and approaching 15 miles of fence.

Our facility currently houses Elk, Red Stag, and Whitetail Deer. We are also permitted to house Mule Deer. We pride ourselves on the efforts we have put into establishing our trophy bloodlines. We treat each species as a separate herd and manage them accordingly.
